If you haven’t seen The Landlord video featuring Pearl, Will Farrell’s daughter you’re missing out. If you have seen it you’ve probably wondered (like everyone else) how in the world they got Pearl to say all that stuff - aside from the beer bribes. This new video features out takes from the filming of the Landlord. You’ll see plenty of coaching by Will and his wife (I guess?). And little Landlord Pearl with a mind of her own.

This video of Spelling Bee Champion Evan O’Dorney on CNN is painful. This kid is a piece of work. Note to self: “Home schooling - bad idea”. I defy you to sit the through the whole interview and not feel bad for this anchor women. I’m suprised she didn’t try and reach through camera and and strangle him. Spelling stuff right is cool and all, but if you lack the ability to actually use those words to form sentences and speak to people like a normal human, it’s not worth much.

The Sopranos draws to a close this weekend. There will be a large void in my Sunday evenings but no fear, John From Cincinnati premiere’s after the Sopranos finale on June 10. The trailers are compelling, mysterious and confusing, but what else do you expect from HBO. A floating surfer of course. Considering the series comes from the Deadwood producers and the HBO farm it ought to be good.

Another one to look out for is Flight of the Concords it “follows the trials and tribulations of a two-man, New Zealand digi-folk band as they make their way in New York City” .

And of course Big Love returns on Monday. This is one that took a while to hook me in, but I wouldn’t miss it.

Today’s local news promos are always ridiculously dramatic and over-the-top. Which is really a fair way to promote a program just as crappy. But take a look at what was going on in the 70’s. I’m guessing they were banking on everyone actually being on drugs when they watched this thing. Which they probably were.
