Race car driver Helio Castroneves has won this seasons Dancing with the Stars. Helio and his professional partner Julianne Hough took the crown of finalists Marie
Osmond and Jonathan Roberts, and Spice Girl Melanie Brown and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Julianne was last year with Apollo Ono.

The final really wasn’t much of a surprise. Julianne and Helio seemed odds on favorites with Melanie and Maksim not far behind. Marie Osmond all but killed any chance she had at winning with last nights horrible rag doll dance. And today there was even (crazy) speculation that her fainting spell was fake. It seems pretty unlikely Marie was faking it, but that doll dance was insanely bad.

The world of online video syndication is changing everyday. NBC recently pulled their videos off YouTube in anticipation of the launch of Hulu.com. CBS and Veoh have now partnered to offer you full length episodes of popular shows. It’s really anyone’s guess where all these partnerships are going to end up. Hulu, which suffers first from a horrible name, has already drawn skepticism. YouTube seemed to be a better distribution channel for NBC, but I guess they wanted to keep things under their own roof. We’ll see how CBS does reaching out through Veoh. You’re still not going to get me to watch Kid Nation, but I might catch up on some CSIs.

Winona Ryders nude in the new film Sex and Death 101 will probably leave you feeling like you just left Sex 101. Surprising little to see consider it’s Winona Ryder. Imdb has the details:

A guy’s life is turned around by an email, which includes the names of everyone he’s had sex with and ever will have sex with. His situation gets worse when he encounters a femme fatale (Ryder) who targets men guilty of sex crime.

By now most of you have heard Hollywood writers are on strike. It’s the third day and they’ve taken to the picket lines. So what’s going to happen to your favorite sitcom this fall? How soon will it go to reruns?

It all depends on how many scripts the studios have stockpiled. They certainly knew the strike was coming and they got as much out of their writers, as quickly as they could, before it struck. So many of your favorite sitcoms will remain in production - despite picketers - until they’ve exhausted their stockpile of scripts.

Then there are those shows that have already run out scripts to film. The AP reports that production has halted on Desperate Housewives, Back to You, and Two and a Half Men, among others. Seven total.

What this all boils down to is that by the of this the year most of your favorite shows will run out of new episodes and go to reruns. Everyone ready for more reality TV? (see those shows don’t need writers - just really bad ideas)

Twin boys, Jared and Justin Serovich have created wedgie proof underwear. Here’s video of the anti-wedgie inventors talking to Fox News. Cute kids. Most people wait to start inventing products until they’re adults, but I guess if the need is great enough you do what you have to. The underwear, named Rip-Away 1000, appears to have some sort of rip away band that prevents you from actually getting a real wedge. It also appears to leave what’s left of your underwear around your knees - which is going to be a big problem when you start running to avoid the full pant wedgie.

Brad and Angelina hit the red carpet for the premiere of her new film Beowulf. The complete computer animated film puts a new spin on the classic story. Angelina Jolie does a nude scene in the film, though it’s all computer graphics. If you’ve seen the trailer, it’s pretty amazing looking. How much longer are we really going to need actors?
