This short film featuring Maggie Gyllenhaal and two other girls was made in support of the Writer’s Guild strike. In the video Maggie meets two other women both waiting for mystery man. Three three girls decide they won’t need their respective men, order a pizza and then get busy with what you can assume is some lesbian action. Oh, and the pizza girl joins in. So how in the world does this support the Writer’s Strike? Ah. The Sun UK explains:
In the clip, the Secretary star turns up to a hotel room to meet a man only to find two other beauties waiting to see the SAME fella.
The man called AMPiTePa - short for Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers - has stood them all up.
After a spell period of frustration, Maggie takes a swig from her glass of wine and says: “We don’t need him. We’ve got everything we need right here.
“Girls - you want to make an interim agreement?”
I’m not sure anyone’s going to get the inside joke, but making a lesbian orgy video is a great way to tell one.

The video would have worked a lot better for me if one of the original three girls didn’t merely look young enough to be Maggie Gyllenhall’s daughter, but actually looks as if she could BE Maggie Gyllenhall’s daughter…
