There’s been a ton of buzz lately over a video of Tom Cruise talking about Scientology. Gawker.com seems to be the only site left standing after the Scientologists’ lawyers were unleashed on the various sites hosting the reportedly stolen video. This spoof of Tom Cruise’s scientologist rant comes from the guys over at Funny or Die. The same folks responsible for bring you the now famous Landlord video with Will Ferrell. The actual Tom Cruise video is downright nuts. I’m pretty sure aliens have invaded that guys mind. Jerry O’Connell’s parody is pretty funny. He seems to have the crazy Tom Cruise laugh down pretty good.

Clearly a standout on tonight’s American Idol auditions in Texas was native Kady Malloy. First doing her impression of Britney Spears - which actually impressed the judges (hard to imagine Britney Spears impressing anyone these days), she then blew them away with a solid real audition. Interesting spelling of Kady too. She’s got the look. We’ll see if Kady Malloy can make it through Hollywood to this year’s top 24. Video of Kady’s great audition above.

The first night of American Idol has uncovered the first stand out. Country singer Kristy Lee Cook blew away the judges with a country twinged edition of Amazing Grace. Having sold her horse to make it to Philadelphia to audition Kristy Lee also had that feel good Idol vibe as well.
