Richard Zednik Accident Clip
A horrible hockey accident occurred last night in Buffalo as Florida Panther’s Richard Zednik had his throat slashed open by a flying skate. His carotid artery appeared to be severed. While the video clip is wide shot, you can clearly see the play where the cut happened. Zednik was immediately attended to and helped off the ice, but seemed to go weak with just seconds.
Latest news is that Zednik successfully underwent surgery and is recovering at a Buffalo hospital. This is the kind of stuff you never want to see in nightly highlight reels.
