The Real Lincoln Navigator

Monday, February 11th, 2008

Another funny spoof from the guys at Funny or Die. Who needs a Garmin when you’ve got a Lincoln. No, not the SUV - Abe Lincoln - in your passenger seat. Turn by turn directions from the late 19th century make sure you get where you’re going on time.

Oceanic Airlines Commercial

Friday, February 1st, 2008

The season premiere of Lost was last night and as usual it’s left people talking - about what did and didn’t happen. And one of the things they’re talking about is this Oceanic Airlines Commercial. ABC done a good job tying the show back into the web with the find815.com web site. Looking forward to another Lost season full of interesting twists and frustrations. Here’s the Oceanic commercial video.

Feist Sings 1 2 3 4 Tell Me That You Love Me More

Friday, September 21st, 2007

The new Apple iPod Nano commercial features the sexy female voice has people wondering. Who sings that? It’s Feist for the album The Reminder. I’ve never heard of her before, but after downloading the album I think if you like 1 2 3 4 I think you’ll dig the rest. Feist is Canadian by the way. It’s a good listen. You can download it here (will launch iTunes). Of course you’d better have a new Nano to listen to it on.

Brad Pitt Dances in Japan

Friday, September 21st, 2007

Another installment in or American Celebrities doing Foreign Commercials series. Brad Pitt shows off some dance moves in this foreign commercial for some sort of coffee drink called Roots? I have no idea why he’s dancing around an office, but most foreign commercials make even less sense American ones.

Madonna Sells Stuff in Japan

Tuesday, February 27th, 2007

I’m not sure what in the world Brillia Mare ARIAKE is, but Madonna is selling it - in Japan. I like finding these Japanese commercials with American celebrities. They’re always selling this stuff overseas you never hear about, yet wouldn’t dare do it on American TV.

Cameron Diaz is Big in Japan

Thursday, February 8th, 2007

You’d be suprised at the insane millions that American celebrities get to promote products in Japan. Case in point, this Japanese commercial featuring Cameron Diaz selling cel phones. You’d never see an A-lister like Diaz selling Sprint or Verizon in the US market. But stars do it all the time in Japan.
