Jon Favreau seems like an odd choice to direct Iron Man, but I’m a bit Favreau fan so we’ll give the benefit of the doubt. And Robert Downey Jr. as action hero? Hummm? Jury’s still out on this one.

If you’ve been anxiously awaiting the trailer for REPO! The Genetic Opera - wait no more. The trailer for Paris Hilton’s latest adventure on the silver screen is awful! Worst of all is the singing - and it’s not Paris - she actually sings OK in a black wig while she dumpster dives. Confused, yes, scared, me too. I’m guessing this one’s going straight to DVD.

The Venice film festival is drawing to a close. One of the more hyped films was The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Of course a lot of the attention was because of Brad Pitt (and Angelina Jolie), but still. The trailer looks killer - at least visually. Casey Affleck and Pitt seem to pair off well.

The trailer for Aliens speaks for itself. With a cast of Anna Nicole Amith and Chyna and know it’s got Oscar written all over it. Who knows if Illegal Aliens will ever be released.
