I don’t know the first thing about soccer. It just seems like a really slow moving version of hockey – but I do like it. I am sure that this doesn’t happen everyday. A 2-man bicycle kick – for a goal. That’s right, right through the five-hole (oh, wait not soccer). Whatever. Pretty freakin cool. Check out the video.

6-foot 7-inch High School junior Brittney Griner shows some impressive on court action. Recently featured on ESPN’s Pardon The Interruption Brittney dunks like a pro. A student at Nimitz High School in Aldine, TX she’s already set to go to Baylor.

Richard Zednik Accident Clip

A horrible hockey accident occurred last night in Buffalo as Florida Panther’s Richard Zednik had his throat slashed open by a flying skate. His carotid artery appeared to be severed. While the video clip is wide shot, you can clearly see the play where the cut happened. Zednik was immediately attended to and helped off the ice, but seemed to go weak with just seconds.

Latest news is that Zednik successfully underwent surgery and is recovering at a Buffalo hospital. This is the kind of stuff you never want to see in nightly highlight reels.

Playing Roof Soccer
